Dawnbreaker, Inc. selected as one of Rochester's Top 100

Rochester, N.Y., November 3, 2008 - Dr. Jenny C. Servo, president of Dawnbreaker, Inc., a small, woman-owned business, announced today that the company has been selected as one of the 2008 Rochester Top 100, with a ranking of 43rd in its second year on the list. The Rochester Top 100 ranks privately held companies, located in the greater Rochester area, based on the past three years of revenue growth.

Dawnbreaker, founded in 1990, is a professional services firm best known for providing business acceleration services and commercialization assistance to advanced technology firms and their investors. The company, which currently employs a staff of 62, holds a number of contracts with federal agencies including the U.S. Navy, Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation.

In the 18 years since the company began, it has worked with more than 3,000 firms/projects that have received funding from the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program and others. Dawnbreaker is committed to not only providing outstanding services, but to measuring the successful outcomes of these same services. To date, firms that have participated in Dawnbreaker SBIR/STTR programs have secured more than $1.5 billion dollars in investment capital or increased sales.

Dawnbreaker also provides services, which include market research, marketing and communication, manufacturing assessment and training seminars directly to small businesses, large businesses and corporations, individual states and private investors.
