This seminar is designed for companies that anticipate submitting a Phase II proposal to a non-mission oriented agency and that wish to increase the likelihood of commercialization success. Topics include: (1) a review of fundamental concepts including commercialization, commercial potential, and commercialization strategies, (2) A review of Phase 2 commercialization plan guidelines for non-mission agencies, (3) clarification of what constitutes a compelling business case, (4) Do’s and don'ts of commercialization plans, (5) issues that every company should address during Phase 1. The emphasis of the seminar can be directed to coincide with the technology clusters that are important in your state. All participants will engage in some consideration of commercialization strategies as they apply to their technology.
