An Invitation

You are cordially invited to attend the 2nd Annual DHS Commercialization Workshop to be held at the Executive Conference Center at Liberty Center, 4075 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203 on June 20th and 21st.

The DHS Commercialization Workshop is a two day event, with the first day open to all current Phase I and Phase II SBIR awardees; while the 2nd is for Phase II awardees only.

The first day is intended to provide companies with an insider’s view of how commercialization takes place within the Department of Homeland Security. The day will begin with a panel discussion provided by DHS representatives that will give you an appreciation of the DHS components, DHS acquisition strategy, and recommended methods to advance to Phase III. The afternoon will focus on practical issues confronted by companies trying to access the highly fragmented DHS markets.

Day 2 is for Phase II awardees only and will be conducted by John May, Managing Partner of the New Vantage Group and James Hunt, a partner with the Mita Group. The purpose of the second day is to provide participants with a perspective on what investors are looking for and how to sustain revenue and effect valuation.

The Executive Conference Center is located at the following location. Please plan on arriving at 8:00 AM for the workshop.

Directions

In the heart of Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood, the Executive Conference Center is conveniently located across from Ballston Mall and nearby restaurants and sandwich shops. The ECC is two blocks from the Ballston Metro stop on the orange Line.

FROM DULLES AIRPORT: Take Dulles Access Road to I-66. Follow I-66 East to the Exit 71Glebe Road/N. Fairfax Dr. Turn right onto N Randolph St. Parking garage will be on your left.

FROM NATIONAL AIRPORT: Take the George Washington Parkway North to 395 South. From 395 S take Exit 8A Washington Blvd. Drive 2.9 miles then turn left onto 10th Street N. Turn left onto Wilson Blvd and drive for 0.3 miles. Strategic Analysis will be on your right.

BY METRO: Ballston Metro Stop
Take the Orange Line to the Ballston station. Exit Metro Station, walk towards and pass the IHOP. Turn right on N. Randolph and continue for approximately 1 block. 4075 Wilson Blvd. is on the left.

Limited parking is available in our building, located at 4075 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA for $10.00 per day (Cash, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa accepted).

Additional parking is available at the Ballston Common Mall, located across the street from our location for $8 per day.
