06 Navy Opportunity Forum: Transitioning Technology to the Fleet
June 5 - 7 // Hilton Washington // Washington, DC.

Government walk-ins only. All others must pre-register.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. As this is a closed event, a pre-registration process has been put in place. Only Federal employees with proper identification may "walk in"; all others must pre-register by June 1st, so that we can review the request to assure compliance with our intended audience.

This is the 6th Navy Opportunity Forum® sponsored by the Navy Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Office. This year 161 opportunities will be showcased. The Forum provides an effective way for acquisition officers, R&D managers, prime contractors, 1st and 2nd tier suppliers, and defense personnel to preview Navy-funded technologies developed by small business. Each presenting firm has developed a Phase III Transition plan that charts a course to the successful transition of Navy-funded technologies to the appropriate defense applications.

The Forum is consistent with the objectives articulated by Congress in Section 252 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006, to "accelerate the transition of technologies, products, and services developed under the Small Business Innovation Research Program to Phase III, including the acquisition process."
