Agenda

Be sure to take advantage of four distinct types of activities offered at the Forum. These include:

  1. Presentations by small businesses each of which highlights the following:
    • Problem Statement
    • Baseline Technology
    • Customer Needs
    • Solution
    • Performance Specifications
    • Comparison with Other Options
    • Current State of Development
    • Types of Partners Sought
    • Company's anticipated role
  2. Tradeshow exhibits by small businesses where you can find out more about each company's capabilities
  3. Keynote speakers and plenary sessions by Navy personnel
  4. Strategic Introductions (SI) - Individual meetings scheduled beforehand with presenting firms. This capability is scheduled through our registration personnel.

To get the most out of the Navy Opportunity Forum, we recommend that you use the VAS to match opportunities with your needs. Download this excel spreadsheet and decide which methods are best to learn about the technologies and companies being showcased. For example, you could attend a presentation and then follow up with companies in the exhibit hall or you could schedule an SI meeting in advance with some firms and listen to the presentations of others.

No matter which methods you choose to mine the opportunities, always feel free to contact our knowledgeable staff at the registration hotline for assistance. If you are looking for technologies that address a pressing technical need or for solutions that can be used on specific subassemblies for targeted platforms, our team can provide information in a manner that is meaningful to you. Please contact us at (585) 617-6285.
