Did you forget your Dawnbreaker DCS/Email Password?

Call Dawnbreaker Tech Support at 2001. From off-site dial (585) 617-9400.

Technical Support will create a temporary password for your account. Before you can access any resources, you will need to create a new password. To create a new password, perform the following:

  1. Navigate your browser to https://mail1.dawnbreaker.com.
  2. Log on using your username and the temporary password provided by tech support.
  3. When prompted, Enter the temporary password provided by tech support as your Old password and then enter a new password in the New password and Confirm new password fields, then click OK.

    If you are prompted with a message about not meeting password policy requirements, please review Dawnbreaker's Password Policy below.

Dawnbreaker Password Policy:

Dawnbreaker's new computer systems will require strong passwords to help secure our network and protect data and resources from unauthorized access. A strong password has 3 requirements:
  1. Minimum Length: Passwords must be at least 7 characters in length.
  2. Complexity: Passwords cannot contain all or part of a user's account name and must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
    • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
    • English lowercase characters (a through z)
    • Numerals (0 through 9)
    • Non-alphanumeric characters (such as !, $, #, %)

Having Trouble Creating a Password?

If you are having trouble creating a password that meets these complexity requirements, try to think of it as a pass-PHRASE. What is a pass-phrase you ask? Let's take a look at some:
  • I Love My Mac!
  • I drink 1 cup of coffee
  • Go Bills?
All of these examples would meet our Password policy.
