Welcome to the Navy Transition Assistance ProgramSM (TAP)
The Navy Transition Assistance Program (TAP) is offered annually to current Phase II SBIR and STTR awardees. The TAP spans an 11 month period and begins with a Kick-Off meeting held in July of each year and culminating with the Navy Opportunity Forum® in June. Via the Navy Transition Assistance Program, small businesses are provided the services of a business acceleration manager, a market researcher, and others to accelerate the transition of their technology. This is accomplished through the application of a proven process and deliverables, developed collaboratively by the small business and the Navy TAP team.
