About Us

The researchers and organizations showcased in this initiative have been pre-qualified based on Nebraska's recognized strengths in medicine, renewable energy, manufacturing, and cybersecurity, as well as their potential relevance to the Department of Defense (DoD) as represented in Broad Agency Announcements (BAA).

Launched in January, 2012, the Nebraska Tech Showcase was sponsored by the Office of Naval Research and developed through a partnership between Dawnbreaker and the Nebraska Business Development Center. Its purpose is to provide Federal Agencies, prime contractors, small businesses that participate in the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program nationally, and one another with a glimpse of the great talent and resources found within Nebraska.
