Midwest Renewable Energy, LLC operates a dry-mill ethanol plant located near Sutherland, Nebraska. The plant generates more than 25 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol via natural fermentation and distillation of corn, primarily for blending with gasoline and other motor fuels. Operations

A principal co-product of the ethanol production process at MRE are distillers grains which is the product remaining after the ethanol is removed from the fermented corn mash. Distillers grains are the non-fermentable components of the corn and are rich in cereal proteins, fat (energy), making it a high-protein, high-energy animal feed supplement marketed to the dairy, beef, swine and poultry industries.

Ethanol is an environmentally friendly source of high-octane renewable fuel produced by fermenting converted corn starch with yeast. It is used as a blending agent for gasoline. Nebraska Corn Processing, LLC (NCP) is capable of processing 16 million bushels of corn per year, resulting in 44 million gallons of ethanol.

Ten percent ethanol is now blended with virtually every gallon of gasoline in the US. NCP offers quality ethanol that:

•Meets consistent industry specifications
•Has high octane levels
•Cleans gas tank/system of water
•Reduces the incidence of greenhouse gas emissions
•Is domestically produced and promotes energy independence
•Increases the value of feed grains grown by farmers
•Is biodegradable and does not contaminate water

NCP has a newly-developed freight division with efficient, dependable, and attractive equipment to deliver corn and wet distillers to customers.

Pellet Technology USA offers a complete biomass supply chain solution to make non-food biomass an affordable, reliable source of clean energy and environmentally friendly bio-chemicals. The company will integrate contracts with farmers, harvesting of biomass (such as corn stover) and pelletizing it into high energy-dense pellets which are a consistent, reliable, affordable feedstock. The pelletizing process is patent pending and is accomplished without using additives or binders. The pellets can be used in a variety of processes.
• Combine with enzymes for cellulosic biofuels feedstock
• Combine with coal cleaner fuel
• Combine with nutrients for lower cost animal feed

In addition to supply chain management, Pellet Technology USA offers licensing of the pellet technology for other uses, including producing pellets from solid waste which can be easily transported and used for energy recovery.
