Depending on the temperature and pressure at a given geothermal reservoir, three types of power plants may be employed. Dry Steam is used at reservoirs that produce dry steam but very little water. (These reservoirs are limited to only a few geographical areas.) The most typical power plants would use either flash or binary systems or can use a hybrid of these two types of systems.[2]
