SYSCOM is an abbreviation for the phrase System Command. There are five system commands within the Navy: (1)the Navy Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), (2) Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), (3)Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR),(4) Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), and (5) Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)
