Mission: PG09 serves as the principal agent to provide comprehensive management of a wide range of weapons systems and equipment that have entered the operations and support phase of their life cycles.

IWS is also developing the process by which the Marine Corps addresses the rifle squad as an integrated system and defines the Marine Expeditionary Rifle Squad of the future.
