What is the mission and organization of Marine Corps Systems Command?

Mission: MARCORSYSCOM is the principal agent for acquisition and sustainment of systems and equipment used by the operating forces to accomplish their warfighting mission. The command outfits United States Marines with literally everything they drive, shoot and wear.

Product Groups

Operational Forces Systems (PG09 OFS)

Mission: PG09 serves as the principal agent to provide comprehensive management of a wide range of weapons systems and equipment that have entered the operations and support phase of their life cycles.

Mission: PG10 provides for the timely delivery and sustainment of interoperable and integrated quality information technology — systems and infrastructure — to meet the needs of the Marine Corps.

MAGTF C2 Weapons & Sensors Development & Integration (PG11 MC2I)

Mission: Equips the operating forces with MAGTF C2, weapons and sensors development and integration in order to accomplish the warfighting mission.

Communications, Intelligence, & Networking Systems (PG12 CINS)

Mission: To deliver world class communications, intelligence and networking systems and equipment to the Operating Forces that meet their requirements and expectations while providing the best value to the American taxpayers.

Infantry Weapons Systems (PG13 IWS)

Mission: PG13 is the principal agent for equipping and sustaining the operating forces with the infantry weapons and systems necessary to accomplish infantry, anti-armor, amphibious raids and reconnaissance, target acquisition, force protection, and non-lethal systems missions. IWS is also developing the process by which the Marine Corps addresses the rifle squad as an integrated system and defines the Marine Expeditionary Rifle Squad of the future.

Mission: To acquire and sustain assigned armored combat systems, fire support systems, and other capabilities for the Operating Forces to accomplish their war fighting mission.

Mission: PG15 provides the operating forces with superior acquisition and life cycle management of tactical ground transportation, power generation and stored power, and engineer systems.
