What is the mission and organization of Program Executive Office Land Systems Marine Corps?

Mission: Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS) will meet the Warfighter's needs by devoting full-time attention to Marine Corps Weapon Systems acquisition, while partnering with Marine Corps Systems Command, in order to develop, deliver, and provide life-cycle planning for assigned programs.

Vision: To serve as the preeminent focal point and standard bearer for excellence and innovation in major land program acquisition management.

Programs:

• Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S)
• Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV)
• Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar System (G/ATOR)
• Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Marine Personnel Carrier (MPC)
• Logistics Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR)
• Lightweight 155mm Towed Howitzer (LW 155)
• Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR)

Relationship to MARCORSYSCOM:

• PEO-LS is a separate command and reports to ASN (RDA)
• Collocated with Marine Corps Systems Command
• Similiar to alignment between other DON PEOs and SYSCOMs
• Leverages MCSC infrastructure & services
• Operating Agreement approved 4 Apr 2007
