As part of our commitment to the SBIR/STTR community, Dawnbreaker^® has created a number of tools that we hope small, advanced tech companies will find useful.

For those working with the Department of Energy, our goal is to provide insight into the new challenges and directions that DOE has embraced. Organized around seven high priority technology areas, information on key challenges is provided, supplemented by a Knowledge Hub replete with reference materials and a list of Conferences scheduled for 2026 and 2027.  These events provide small business with valuable opportunities for networking.

For those working with the Department of the Navy,  information is provided on the Navy Insights page on personnel changes, as well as useful definitions, organizational charts, reports, and answers to questions regarding SBIR data rights. Last updated in early 2026, we are currently in the process of reconfirming the positions of Navy leadership.

The State Resources page is intended to provide Phase II awardees with insight into various initiatives within their state focused on supporting small, advanced technology firms. In addition to SBIR/STTR Matching Funds programs, a variety of programs that can help in transitioning to Phase III are highlighted. For those companies with DoD or NASA facilities within your state, we have also included a list of upcoming conferences related to those agencies.
